I'm expecting this to be a good summer. For once; A good summer. An interesting one. If I can get around, that is. I've failed my driving test, but intend to take it again next week. I'm getting a job at Starbucks beginning soon. I've decided to learn French (with Eliza, I think?) and to read quite a bit. I just finished Stranger Than Fiction, and I'm about a fifth of the way into The Wanting Seed. I've got Naked Lunch, 1984, What's Wrong With Dorfman?, and some others ahead of me. I'm also going to read Catcher in the Rye again. I'm taking summer school and planning to graduate early and start junior college so that I'll be prepared to move out of town by the time I'm eighteen.. Too bad it will never actually happen :]

If I could afford to, I would have a much more exciting summer vacation. I'd travel to Italy (like Ian), France, Amsterdam, and anywhere else in Europe that my little heart desires. For now, I'm content with making money, learning French, and reading my ass off.
